Holomorphic Dynamics (25w5345)

The Casa Matemática Oaxaca (CMO) will host the "Holomorphic Dynamics" workshop in Oaxaca, from August 24 to August 29, 2025.

The workshop presents new aspects in holomorphic dynamics. These aspects are stressed out particularly in the mini-courses. One presents new directions of research in transcendental meromorphic dynamics. For instance, trigonometric families, maps of finite type. The other mini-course introduces cohomological language into holomorphic dynamics. Although these cohomological language have been used in several parts of dynamical systems, it has been poorly used in holomorphic dynamical, here cohomological equations are presented as tools to study invariant measures of different types.

The Casa Matemática Oaxaca (CMO) in Mexico, and the Banff International Research Station for Mathematical Innovation and Discovery (BIRS) in Banff, are collaborative Canada-US-Mexico ventures that provide an environment for creative interaction as well as the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and methods within the Mathematical Sciences, with related disciplines and with industry. The research station in Banff is supported by Canada's Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and Alberta's Advanced Education and Technology.
