Participant Testimonials

Mar 17 - Mar 22, 2024

I found the 2024 BIRS workshop "The Crossroads of Topology, Combinatorics and Biosciences" to be the most stimulating scientific event I have participated in recently. I learned a lot, I had many fruitful discussions with the participants, and I anticipate several scientific collaborations to materialize as a result of these discussions. The specular views and venues, flawless organization, and intimate atmosphere all lead to an environment that was singularly conducive to the exchange of scientific ideas. Last but not least, I appreciated the modern AV equipment in the conference rooms, which made the virtual participation blend in seamlessly and organically with the in-person participation. I would like to especially thank the organizers, Margherita, Natasha, Chris, and Mariel, for bringing us together for this workshop!

This was a fantastic workshop. The organizers did a great job identifying speakers covering state-of-the-art discoveries across the broad discipline of entanglement of nucleic acids. I learned a tremendous amount and everyone I spoke with at the conference felt the same. I met new researchers with whom I have initiated new collaborations—contacts I would not have met otherwise. I am motivated and overflowing with new ideas for the research projects in my own laboratory. Now that I'm back home, I'm speaking with my lab personnel to implement them! The accommodations, view, and food were all first-rate as well! THANK YOU!
