It was great to be at such a conference bringing together researchers from many interconnected fields to enumerative geometry. All talks were great, participants were amazing too. I particularly liked that the organizers matched young and senior researchers as mentees/mentors. We met several young participants and discussed their research plans. BIRS is a wonderful place, which allowed us to focus on our research -- together with my collaborator Pierrick Bousseau, we got the chance to do good progress on a project, during our stay at BIRS.
Wonderful conference with excellent speakers, and very broad range of participants. Great opportunities for networking -- I particularly appreciate that the organizers assigned us younger researchers to mentor during the event, and it led to very fruitful discussions.
